BOONDOCKING / VEHICLE CAMPING

For guests traveling with vans, SUVs, overlanding rigs, or self-contained camping setups, boondocking offers a simple drive-in or vehicle-based camping experience in a peaceful Appalachian setting.

This is a dispersed camping option with designated parking and camping areas available upon arrival. Guests may park and set up near approved areas while maintaining spacing and respect for neighboring campers.

Founder Rates

$15 per night for up to 4 guests
+$5 per night for each additional guest

These special Founder Rates are available during the early development phase of Nickell Ridge Homestead and are subject to change as amenities and infrastructure are added.

• Some sites are drive-in, others may require short walk access

• Portable restroom facilities available beginning opening weekend

• Limited cell service may occur

• No hookups or dump stations available

• Guests must remain within designated camping areas
